    Veterans Day Celebration 2019

    On Monday, November 11th, Foster celebrated Veterans Day. We are so grateful for our veterans and their service! Veterans arrived at Foster for lunch and snacks and the Veterans Day program included music, keynote speaker, slideshow and introductions of our Foster family and community Veterans. Thank you to Mr. Kierzak for running a great program. Additional thanks go out to Mrs. Noel (our keynote speaker), Miss Dougherty (slide show), and all of the people that made this program so special! We are so proud of our Veterans!

    October is bullying prevention awareness month. Throughout the month, we are educating and raising awareness on the issue of bullying and prevention. Don't forget that Unity Day is October 23rd, where everyone is encouraged to wear orange in order to show support against bullying!

    During the upcoming 2019-2020 school year, every third-grade student will have the opportunity to participate in the Connected Community Wellness Screen Program. Screening will be provided by Samaritan Counseling Center. Our goal is to have 100% of our third-grade students participate!

    Walk to School Week

    Foster Walk to School Week! Walk to school week will take place Tuesday, October 8th - Thursday, October 10th. If you walk, bike, or even scooter to school, you can see a safety patrol member or your classroom teacher to receive a ticket for some great prizes. If you get dropped off at school, you can still get in on the fun! Simply get dropped off further from school and walk what you can!

    From our 4th Grade Students and Staff: During the month of October we are going to collect as many pairs of new socks as possible, which we will donate to the Community Clothes Closet in Menasha. Will you help us? Let’s show our community that the students of Foster Elementary really do care. We might be kids...but we CAN make a difference! Who can help? You! How? Simply bring in a donation of new socks! We are collecting socks for people of all ages. Where? Place your sock donations in the designated bin sitting in the school lobby across from the office. When? October 1st – October 31st
