Celebrating Positive Behaviors
Foster's Falcon is always looking for safe, respectful, responsible student behavior. Recently, we had a drawing of those classes who were recognized for demonstrating exceptional leadership at lunch! Mrs. Mader's kindergarten class was the lucky recipient of our monthly celebration! November is Indigenous Heritage Month
November is nationally recognized Indigenous Heritage month. There are 574 federally recognized tribes and 245 unrecognized tribes comprising the United States. Foster School is currently residing on land which was first the land of the Menominee and HoChunk Nations, and we honor the sovereignty and stewardship of First Nations, recognizing their traditional practices, and the uniqueness of their individual cultures and histories, taking this time to educate, and revitalize traditional practices of Indigenous people. Thank you to the Paul Schmidt family for sharing their heritage with Foster's students and staff!

Walk to School Week Celebration
On October 5th-7th (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), students can walk to school and will be eligible to win some outstanding prizes! The purpose of the Walk to School Week is to promote being physically active and identifying safe routes to school. If you bike or scooter, that will count too! If you are someone that arrives by car, you may be dropped off a minimum of one block away to still be eligible for walk to school prizes. Make sure you get a ticket from a safety patrol member (or your classroom teacher once you arrive) to be eligible!
